Key completed assignments during 2021-24 include commercial advice in the acquisition of a container terminal business in Western Europe (European infrastructure fund), due diligence on Buy-side due diligence on a global port holding (Confidential Institutional investor), review of best organisational practices in the shipping industry (MBB), provision of strategic advice to two major Container Terminal Operators, opex/ capex advice to an Infrastructure Fund in their acquisition of large bulk and multipurpose terminals in Peru, Due diligence on 4.5m TEU West-Med container terminal portfolio, commercial strategy for a greenfield port in Mexico and a central-American multimodal infrastructure corridor, lead advisory services for a 500k TEU French multimodal terminal portfolio.

• P&L responsible for digital partnerships with supply chain software cos.
• Definition and execution of Maersk SCM’s go-to-market for supply chain solutions (Order Collaboration, TMS, Inventory management, Demand Sensing, etc).
• Expansion of Maersk SCM’s partnerships, including partner screening and sourcing, product strategy, partnership agreement negotiation and execution, product development and partner integration into Maersk IT landscape.
• Lead for Maersk SCM M&A.

• Definition and implementation of a KPI-based performance management system for a portfolio of 40 Businesses (container and multipurpose terminals and logistics assets).
• Identification of opportunities for performance improvement at Business Units through advanced data analysis, Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies.
• Evaluation of efficiency and optimization programmes at Business Units and provision of project leadership and accountability as to processes re-engineering.

• Successful project management and closure of five acquisitions and concession extensions, two post-merger integrations and three asset financings (Cyprus, UK, Belgium, Germany and Turkey).
• Negotiation of concession, transition, sale and purchase and license extension agreements with Cypriot Government and UK and German private operators.
• Active participation in the business planning and budgeting of DPW’s European portfolio in existing Business Units plus in the newly acquired ones.

Delivery of 60+ advisory and due diligence assignments for project and corporate finance transactions across transport sub-sectors (ports and shipping, highways, railways and aviation).
