M&A Analytics: Transaction Advisory (United States)

− Creating dynamic workflows on Alteryx and Interactive dashboards on Power BI. Write sections in the report. − Assisting clients from an M&A analytics perspective and analysis such as PoC driven entirely through Alteryx − Created interactive workflows for analysis such as NLE, Customer Cohort, Product concentration, customer level stratification, revenue streams. − Creating SOWs for different engagements and work usage − Created new-hire documentation and managed cross-functional teams for client engagements. − Managing a client (>$1mn) directly from the team on multiple acquisitions & provided insights throughout the process.

Financial due diligence: Deal Advisory (Australia and New Zealand) − Created dynamic workflows which enabled us to swiftly move data across and helps us to create interactive Power BI reports using ETL tools like Alteryx. − Handled FDD engagements and advised private equity/strategic clients on buy-side and sell-side deals. − Evaluated underlying quality of earnings, normalized working capital and net debt, revenue structure, key performance indicators and any industry specific analysis. − Provided input in management calls, driving analysis and contributed on the report front. − Executed 20 end to end DAP projects in 1 year and successfully led a team of 4 junior associates on multiple engagements resulting in high performance and career development opportunities.

Financial due diligence: Deal Advisory (New York and Boston) − Studying and analyzing financial statements such as Trial balance, P&L, balance sheet and ratios to backtrack historical performance for evaluation of KPIs, Quality of Earnings, Working capital, and Net debt. − Taking ownership of engagements from creation of databooks to delivering FDD reports to clients. − Performing critical analysis such as NLE, Stratification, collection speed, cash proof, stream, working capital trends, seasonality on cash flow requirements. − Highlighting unusual trends, recording observations, and framing questions for the target. − Identifying material adjustments critical to the deal and key metrics during client calls via management questions. − Building strong relationships with clients and onshore counterparts; generating opportunities.
