As Principle Consultant for ISG, advised a blue chip transportation & logistics client through an assessment of their outsourced IT service delivery. Scope included a detailed contract assessment ($400m+) of contracts in place with three key vendors and their alignment to market standards, a review of their vendor managemement & governance structure and proposals to optimise, the development of a renegotiation strategy to drive better value from their contracts, whilst mitigating relationship risk, a review of their current billing and assurance process and proposals to optimise. The initial remit was a 4 week engagement, the success of which led to a more extensive engagement, increasing anticipated revenue for ISG almost 9 fold.

Engagement included RFP design, supplier evaluation, contractual advice and input, SLA methodology design, SOW design and development, price benchmarking and detailed analytics – assisting the client to secure a competitive, market aligned deal with a focus on operational excellence and future innovation. The initial remit was a 6 week engagement, the success of which led to a more extensive (8 month) engagement, significantly increasing revenues for Alsbridge.

Engaged by my former employer (Arvato) to lead the transition of multiple lines of business from their US based contact centre operations into a new site in the Philippines, as part of a Global project intiative for the world’s leading software supplier. Reporting into the UK CEO, responsibilities included client and internal stakeholder comms, fit-out of a new site (incl. lease negotitations), ramp down of Ops in the USA, ramp up of Ops in the Philipines & project delivery within agreed timescales & budget. Won additional assignments to lead the set-up of a further site (BPO) in the Philippines as part of ongoing expansion and a wider project, again with the world’s leading software supplier. Responsibilities included stakeholder comms, lease negotiations, contractor selection and negotiation, client stakeholder comms, project delivery of site fit-out.
