I am a business partner responsible for the management and supervision of high-quality external audit engagements of various SEC registered and privately-held clients. My role requires current working knowledge of relevant literature, business trends, and technical issues within the client's industry. I oversee all phases of the engagement from budgeting and staffing to billing relationship management. I am proficient in financial statement review and regulatory filings.

I led and documented risk assessment and planning activities for specific complex audit work programs. My role identified and assessed control enhancements for management’s consideration to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

I participated in the planning and execution of detailed and effective public company audits in the asset management industry. I trained engagement team members on complex testing procedures and workflow management; provided timely and actionable feedback as required. Significant coordination of +140 registration statements and auditor consent review between the client’s legal department and international team members.

In my role I coordinated the day-to-day “in charge” duties of audit planning, fieldwork, wrap-up including preparation of financial statements. I completed documentation, validation testing, and assessment of various control systems and processes and performed audit procedures on client reconciliations and schedules, developed junior staff, and communicated potential findings to engagement leadership.
