As the Head of the Americas region at Mondia Media, I was responsible for the company's P&L and had direct accountability for revenue generation, customer relations, sales, business development, partner management, product, and marketing strategies across over 30 territories. Mondia Media is a leading provider of content and entertainment services for global Telecom Operators, Media Companies, and OEMs, with clients like Vodafone, Telefonica, Telecom Italia, Hutchison, America Movil, MTN, and many others connected on the Mondia Media Entertainment Universe (MMEU). The company had experienced consistent revenue decline in previous years.
To achieve this goal, I spearheaded the company's efforts to enter new markets and grow the business through both organic and inorganic means. I took the following actions:
▶ Developed a comprehensive strategy to expand Jesta Digital's business to 12 Latin American and Caribbean countries, including Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Panama, Uruguay, and Mexico.
▶ Successfully secured funding for the company's expansion plans in Mexico and launched both flagship company services, Bitbop and Jamster, to deliver seamless entertainment experiences via web or wireless connection on a broad range of devices.
▶ Formulated and executed plans for the company's expansion into other countries in the region through strategic partnerships and acquisitions.
As a key member of the Telecommunications, Media and Technology business sector team at Siemens IT Solutions and Services, I was responsible for identifying new business opportunities and leading product development activities to generate revenue and drive growth. The telecommunications industry was evolving rapidly, and there was a need to stay ahead of the curve by offering innovative solutions to clients.
