Lead the expansion of Cold Chain Packaging Company, ColdTech Systems (CTS), into Colombia, South America from Operations in Panama, Mexico and Brazil. CTS was the exclusive manufacturer and distributor of Softbox Systems, a Great Point Partners (GPP) Company. Under my leadership, we accomplished the following:
• Initiate, establish and grow commercial operations. Recruit a local commercial manager. Start commercial interactions with J&J, Merck, Sanofi, GSK, BMS and others, and covert into growth clients
• Build Product Development capabilities in country
• Evaluate and select 3rd Party Logistics Provider (3PL/4PL) to establish manufacturing and logistics services
• Establish supplier base for key component and materials in country
CTS expansion efforts led to the acquisition of the business by the Private Equity owned enterprise, GPP, in the Fall of 2018.

Led programs focused on a broad range of complex manufacturing and supply chain challenges, from setting new strategic direction, to operational optimization and system implementations. Programs spanned from a few months to year-long efforts, and teams went from small strategy teams (4 people) to larger operational, implementation teams (20+ people). Key projects below:

Process & System Design

• Led implementation of material distribution and storage lean system, and production pull methodology. Reconfigured product presentation to assembly line to double routing productivity
• Led reorganization of over 250 assembly operations in vehicle interior and chassis. Increased vehicle throughput by 15% at facility in OKC, and reduce headcount by 20% at Baltimor facility by re-balancing and streamlining individual operation workload
• Developed analytical software for increasing manufacturing efficiency and throughput changes. Software helped engineering function codify individual operator activities, and improve efficiency in mapping assembly jobs 8-fold.

Reduced test failures of a temperature sensor for Aircraft Environmental Control Systems.
