• Conceived, designed, and led development of the cloud-based CRM tool that takes full advantage of the unique properties of the life science B2B marketplace.
• Also led innovation and new business development efforts for the Linus Group including investigating advanced technologies to enable more targeted/sophisticated marketing programs.
• Led the due diligence process for new/existing entities using or potentially using industrial diamond, diamond-like carbon, or other “super-materials”.
• Managed portfolio of seven early-stage, geographically dispersed companies in the U.S. and U.K.; served on the Board of three US/UK-based firms.
• Managed portfolio companies as a Board member and Board observer, primarily focused on strategy development, early business strategy and transition from R&D to commercialization
• Chaired the Business Development Committee for a Cleantech company which saw revenue/value increase 3X/10X in two years. Acquired '11, Dresser-Rand
• Achieved “first-pass” success on every product designed and/or tested.
• Authored design specifications, developed test methodology and test plan, and conducted high-level (20 – 30 person) internal and external customer design reviews.
