• Recruited by Hg Capital and the FE fundinfo chairman to turn around current Operations team (500 staff) after high M&A activity with 6 acquisitions over the last 2 years and departure of CEO & CPO
• Focussed on addressing capacity and skills gaps across the Operations team to create a scalable platform for further growth, redesigning and optimising process flows and data operations
• Successfully stabilised the Operations function, delivering all financial objectives through a new organisational design, rollout of automation/AI and a focus on customer success
• Recruited by Bain Capital (Francois Gilbart) and the Global COO (James Brooks) to develop and deliver a value creation programme to unlock $95M in operational efficiencies
• Set up and led the high-performing core team and PMO that successfully delivered the plan, reducing 27% of the Operations cost base while sustaining volumes and quality through a new organisation structure, process offshoring, simplification, and extensive automation (RPA and AI)
• Partnered with the CPO & CTO to launch a new product development methodology ("Katalyst") for product innovation, and with the Chief of Staff to successfully monitor and turn around the delivery of a further $75m in savings across Finance, Procurement and Real Estate ("Project Acorn")
• Led commercial, financial and technology due diligence on 10 target companies with enterprise values above GBP100M to be listed on London's AIM market
• Although our fund was outbid by private equity and trade buyers, this entrepreneurial venture further developed my financial and commercial skills through the creation and validation of product roadmaps, data revenue streams and commercial strategies for our investors
• Team was instrumental to achieving the company goal of shifting its revenue mix, with digital services growing from 43% to 62% of total revenues and share price increasing by 40%
• Launched the first iPad apps, the first developer platform with APIs in the industry, multiple R&D projects in Virtual Reality, Data Science, and a partnership with MIT
• Accelerated international product expansion, including a SaaS launch in China that reached half a million customers in its first year and a mobile-first platform for customers in Brazil and South Africa
