This is an Insurance, Risk Advisory and Data Analytics firm based out of Mumbai, India. Currently, offering services in both Traditional and Non-Traditional Actuarial areas. Key Projects completed:
• Product development and pricing for a General Insurance company in India.
• Technical and market knowledge advisory for a UK Insurtech planning to launch in India.
• Renewal Treaty pricing for CI and Medical business for a Tier 1 Global Reinsurer.
• Indexed Universal Life (IUL) product modelling for a US based client.

• Responsible for building a sustainable and profitable portfolio of life & health business in India.
• The role involved Actuarial pricing, conducting experience studies, data analysis, review and update of pricing basis for Group / Individual Mortality, Critical Illness (CI), Personal Accident (PA) and MedEx business for India Market.

• Responsible for quarterly and annual Actuarial Valuation calculations of India's Life and Health reinsurance business as per local regulatory norms along with overseeing non-life valuation process. Liaising with local finance, management team and external Certifying Actuaries (life and non-life) for timely submission of regulatory returns.
• Responsible for Solvency monitoring on a regular basis, capital planning for India Branch (life and non-life), supporting the design and implementation of Retrocession arrangement, and working with Business Development team to finalize the annual Business Plan.
• Responsible for pricing review and sign-off for individual/group Mortality, CI, and Health reinsurance business for India market. The role also involved development and refining of pricing basis (and models) for mortality and critical illness, conducting analysis and experience studies to develop best estimate and monitor business performance using Data Analytics techniques.

During this period, I was involved in multiple assignments in areas of L&H Valuation Modelling, Pricing Reviews, Predictive Data Analytics and P&C Pricing. Key Assignments and responsibilities were:
• As part of Risk Management, I reviewed pricing and experience studies for traditional Life & Health reinsurance business globally to provide assurance to the group.
• As part of Life & Health Valuation Modelling team, I was managing the modelling stream and stakeholders of Asia, UK and Europe including requirements gathering, project planning, leading modelling developments, streamlining modelling processes, studying and reducing out of-model calibrations in statutory, USGAAP and Embedded Value reporting and steering to a more actuarially driven valuation approach.
• For close to 1.5 years, I was into P&C role where I was responsible for Actuarial pricing of Run off deals, Data Analytics and GLM Modelling.

• During this period, I was involved in Data Analytics work. The various roles/projects required formulating and solving business problems to make recommendations to clients; using statistical models & analytical techniques (e.g., GLM, Multiple regression, Logistic regression, Time Series analysis and Classification techniques).
• One of my key projects during this period was relating to supply-chain where we developed a customized algorithm for a US client. I supported the client's IT team to implement and scale up the solution in their production environment. During this time, I worked as an Onsite-Lead in US for 4 months and led a team of 4 off-shore resources for client deliverables.
