Spent time on the side helping friends develop start-up strategies that led to funding from Seqouia.

I founded Chirpee with two friends. It was a digital ordering platform for independent quick service food & beverage shops. We were tackling the problem of waiting in line. At the same time as major players like Starbucks and McDonalds were launching their own applications, we began developing a similar application for the small guys.

I was hired as the third employee. During this time I was part of a team that raised $250MM on the TSX in year one. I worked on it all : deals and partnerships, and general public company operations.
