Responsible for strategy and business development efforts of the $180B+ UnitedHealthcare enterprise, as well as for engaging leaders across all lines of business and functional areas to create consolidated one-year business plans and three-year strategic plans. Principles of Finance introduces financial decision-making through the application of mathematics, statistics, economic theory, and accounting. The two central ideas are time value of money and the relationship between expected return and risk, and how these ideas are used to value bonds, stocks, and other securities, and to make capital investment decisions.

Performed extensive research and analyses in order to identify and evaluate LBO opportunities, as well as potential add-on acquisitions for existing portfolio companies, focusing primarily on the healthcare services sector. Additionally, I worked directly with management teams of two portfolio companies on variety of financial and business-related projects including extensive financial modeling regarding potential add-on acquisitions, preparation of board materials, and budgets.

Worked on raising over $1.8 billion for acquisition financings, dividends and recapitalizations of companies in the automotive industry. Recognized as a top-tier analyst among 2011 class.
