During Columbia Business School, I co-founded Thread Counsel (perfect fitting women’s workwear driven by data science, customizable to style preferences, and available online). Since graduation in May 2017, my co-founder and I have closed $750K in pre-seed funding, including Dorm Room Fund & Columbia’s Lang Center Fund. I am now moving into an Advisor role for the company.

I spent the summer between my first and second years of Columbia Business School in investment banking to enhance my financial modeling and due diligence skills. Received an offer for fulltime employment and a fellowship to cover tuition for MBA.

Co-founded edtech start-up in New York City, ModernGuild (www.modernguild.com), taking the business from concept to profit-generating venture. Responsibilities encompassed fundraising, business development, account management, and program operations. Hallmark events included raising $750K seed funding ($70K from Sequoia Scout funds) and $1MM Series A ($450K from Kaplan Ventures), as well as being selected as 1 of 10 startups to participate in the inaugural Techstars-Kaplan EdTech Accelerator.

Began career as a Consultant within Deloitte’s Strategy & Operations practice, where I honed my analytical skills and built a crucial foundation in strategy and program management. Worked in cross-functional project teams which taught me to work effectively with people of diverse skill sets and drive projects to end results.
