Working with leading businesses and non-profit organizations including Prudential Financial, Pizza Hut, ExxonMobil, Intercontinental Hotels Group and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, I led development of communications strategies that use a cross-section of earned, owned and paid media to build visibility among core audiences. My work centered on building programs to advance key social issues including financial inclusion, education, literacy, hunger relief and the environment.

For six years, I led the HRC Workplace Equality Program to engage businesses leaders, government officials, employees and consumers to advance LGBT Equality. By capturing data on LGBT policies from the worlds leading businesses we helped build the case for critical legislation and mobilize a grassroots movement among consumers. Using the relationships developed through the Index, I created a coalition of 80+ Fortune 500 businesses to spark action on Capitol Hill.

With Accenture I provided organizational design and technology consulting to over 20 retail and financial services clients. I developed a pricing organization at Best Buy Co., including the organizational structure, job descriptions, performance measurement criteria and transition documentation.
