Guided all aspects of development of a cyber security culture, to include executive education, security architecture design and enterprise-wide best practices and security strategy. As the first Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the largest healthcare organization within the Department of Defense (DoD) and one of the largest providers globally, I established a world class cyber security program that served as the gold standard for cyber security for all of DoD, and many private healthcare organizations.

Established the first comprehensive cyber security program for the organization, which provides critical infrastructure support 446 locations throughout the United States. Completely revamped the cybersecurity program to address cyber security challenges not from an IT perspective, but from an operational technology (OT) cyber risks perspective. Provided executive oversight and leadership for over 500 IT and OT cyber security personnel.

As the first CISO, for all 185 Army installations across the globe, I provided executive level oversight of over 2,000 cyber security professionals and established a world class cyber security program, that became the blueprint for numerous other DoD organizations to immolate.

Provided executive oversight of the cyber security maturity of 24 multi-billion-dollar Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs.
