I have consulted for eCommerce, fintech, and software companies, helping to develop go-to-market strategies and make technology and product decisions. In addition, I have made several angel investments.

I am developing and leading the sales and marketing strategy including customer acquisition and branding for Decipher Finance. This extends to creating partnerships for distribution. In addition, I preside over financial and other administrative areas.

I consulted on the RadioShack turnaround. During my time on the project, I conducted an abridged due diligence process on a three-person team that resulted in the $175 mm asset acquisition by a billion dollar investment management firm. I acted as an internal CFO, presiding over daily cash management and expenditures. I architected the company’s transition to the cloud by negotiating a $16 mm budget for new IT software, systems and services while reducing legacy IT annual spend by 17% ($5 mm).

I was the CFO of a venture-backed software startup that grew from five employees to over 200 across multiple locations and maintained growth rates in excess of 100%. I assisted in the raising of approximately $20 mm in venture capital and debt. I conducted and participated in board meetings and other strategic discussions with investors and management. I ran three financial audits and regular reporting to the board and investors.

I covered the technology, media and telecom (TMT) sectors for a +$200 mm long/short hedge fund with a net long strategy and investment horizon of 12-24 months. I analyzed, modeled and evaluated equity, credit, derivative, merger arbitrage and event-driven opportunities ranging from small-cap to mega-cap companies. I managed and oversaw a +$10 mm book of investments.
