Deputy Head for Operational Risk Change team responsible for implementing the full-stack Operational Risk framework for HSBC, including policies and standards, processes and procedures, & database technology.

Provided SME oversight for the banks Capital & Liquidity Risk. Primary responsibilities included monitoring and managing our Risk Appetite, leading several Risk IT software projects to quantitatively stress our Capital & Liquidity positions, as well as crafting our Risk & Compliance processes and procedures.

Senior Change project manager for Barclays COO Office, where I provided senior council and management support directly to the Barclays Chief Operating Officer & Chief Risk Officer. I led the design and delivery of a new Target Operating Model which achieved£90m of annualised cost reduction against c.£30m Group Executive committee target, including Change Portfolio Optimisation, offshoring over 300 FTE, process excellence and lean deployment.

I supported the advisory and execution of debt financing strategies for corporations across the UK, Ireland, & Europe, ranging from term loans and liquidity management to left lead capital restructuring. In this role I had significant exposure to M&A-lead debt transactions where I provided due diligence and analytic support through bespoke LBO modelling.

I was the first point of contact for corporate portfolio of 30+ clients (£5m-£150m annual revenue) within Technology & Media team. I supported clients with both their day to day cash management requirements as well as their medium term payment & financing solutions.
