Financial Analysis Contractor for New-venture Accelerator

We are looking for a consultant to support the Planning & Performance (P&P) strategic finance team within our New-venture Accelerator (DNA). The New-Venture Accelerator was established to drive the development and scaling of alternative business models (such as subscription, product, or hybrid recurring revenue businesses) across the core business units of Consulting, Advisory, Tax and Audit, and Assurance.

The New-Venture Accelerator team works on strategic projects including investment activity (M&A deals, partnerships, organic growth initiatives) and operational improvement projects (pricing strategy, sales strategy). The Contractor will support the development of an investment business case as part of our cybersecurity strategy. While initial work will focus on the business case (see example activities below), future projects may involve pricing and other finance-related initiatives. Example activities to support the business case include:
• Support the development of a multi-year financial model to understand the return on investment
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and sensitivity analysis to test the reasonableness of financial model assumptions
• Conduct research on benchmarks and leading practice to use as input into business case assumptions
• Distill complex analyses into simple views that can be easily understood/digested by others
• Build PowerPoint slides to communicate analyses and recommendations
• Conduct general project management activities to ensure key risks are tracked and milestones are achieved
