Operations - Supply Chain Management
-A boutique healthcare consulting firm is looking for a consultant with a strong supply chain background specific to the healthcare space.
-Their end client, a large healthcare system who operates their own distribution center, is looking to evaluate their inventory control. The consultant will help analyze how much product is kept on hand, what min/max product levels are, the ideal location in their warehouse where products should be kept, and use dimension data to figure out how much true space is necessary to appropriately slot products.
-Consultant needs to be comfortable and have experience leading engagements and client workshops.
*The consulting firm has data resources in place already to assist and streamline the data aspect of this engagement.
****This engagement will require 100% capacity for the first 3 months (40-50 hours per week) and ~50% capacity for the last 6 months (20-25 hours per week).
****The on-site requirement will be an average of about 60% throughout the engagement, with some weeks varying from 25-80% on-site depending on current workload. The remainder can be done remotely.
