Support pulling public data together for an analysis

For corn, soy, wheat, and cotton in the US (as far back as possible, at least 1980):
- Commodity price
- Average yield/acre
- Farm revenue/ acre (commodity price*yield)
- Ag input costs in at least 4 groups. We are really interested in getting as much data as possible and would like to collect whatever is available
o Seeds
o Chemistry (separate input from application)
o Fertilizer
o Other (have an understanding of what is in other – if we have fuel and labor that would be very helpful
o Machinery, and land would be nice to have

I am looking for help pulling this data together into a single Excel file that we can pivot to look at different cuts of the data. I'm interested in farm data at the national level in the US for 1950-2015. USDA ERS will have most of the output data (yield and price received).
